The 32 Tide "Give Kids the World" Ford Taurus was driven by Scott Pruett in the 2000 NASCAR season. Scott's only top ten finish that year was at the Brickyard 400 in Indianapolis. In the 1990s, Pruett was a regular in the CART series. From 1988 to 1999, he had 145 starts with two wins, five poles and fifteen podiums. In 1995, he won his first CART race in a thrilling last lap duel with Al Unser, Jr. at the Michigan 500. In 1997, he won his final CART race at Surfers Paradise Australia in the Nikon Indy 300.
Following his Champ Car career, and the 2000 Winston Cup Series, Pruett moved back to sports car racing and won his third Trans-Am Series Championship in 2003. Pruett won eleven American sports car championships: five Grand-Am (2004, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012), two IMSA GTO (1986, 1988), three Trans-Am (1987, 1994, 2003) and one IMSA GT Endurance (1986).
Pruett was named to the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America in 2017 and retired after 50 years in racing following the 2018 Rolex 24 at Daytona.
