I want to go to the North Pole!
White Mountain is an Inupiaq village located in Northwest Alaska on the west bank of the Fish River, near the head of Golovin Lagoon, on the Seward Peninsula - 63 mile east of Nome. White Mountain currently has 193 residents. The students in the K-2 class at White Mountain School have each adopted a travel tag and determined its goal. The class will be visiting the travel tags pages weekly to follow their travels. We would really appreciate pictures and information about the area the travel tags visit so the students can learn of the world outside the village. We ask for you to kindly move Rocksir the Tree as quickly as possible to a cache. Try to select a safer cache in order to keep down the risk of coming up missing. The class thanks you very much for moving their travel tags.
Lublue adopted Rocksir the Tree. The following information was written by Lublue:
“White Mountain is fun. It has a school. It snows a lot. We go skiing.”
