My father was diagnosed with type II diabetes last year... He had complications with his foot and had to have a toe amputated... We had no idea he even had diabetes at all!!!!! Please get checked every year... I have been searching for one of these TB's and am glad I have finally found one...When I saw the opportunity to help raise awareness through Unite For Diabetes and Geo caching, I jumped at the chance. Thanks again......

I was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes three years ago and it scared the heck out of me. After making major lifestyle changes with diet & exercise, I've lost 69 pounds, and have gone from 227 pounds to 158. Where I needed to take medication before, the changes have kept me off meds for a year now. When I saw the opportunity to help raise awareness through Unite For Diabetes and Geocaching, I jumped at the chance. I did not find the bug in a cache; I ordered it from geocaching.com. I'll be placing it shortly, along with the FUN requirement for Q1. Cheers!
