I found this TB in Norman, Oklahoma, out at Lake Thunderbird. It was in a cache way back in the woods. Check out previous comment. I didn't see it in my collection on geocaching.com so I am rewriting and submitting.

Found it at Thunderbird Lake near Norman, Oklahoma, while on a camping trip. See previous post. I will take it to Texas and release it somewhere around Dallas.

I went camping this weekend with my camping group to Norman, Oklahoma. Norman is the home of Oklahoma University and the Sooners. Oklahoma is my home state. I now live in Dallas, Texas. After teaching all day on Friday, I drove with a friend to meet the rest of the group at Thunderbird Lake State Park right outside of Norman. That night we had an awful wind and rain storm. The wind nearly flattened my tent. On Saturday I went geocaching. I found your travel bug in "Capture the Flag" geocache. In the description of the cache, the Oklahoma City cachers hide a flag at the cache site then the Tulsa cachers have to find it. They take the flag back to Tulsa, hide it, then the Oklahoma City cachers have to travel to find it. Sounds like a fun game between two cities. Anyway, I had to bushwhack into the woods quite a ways to find this cache. On the way I found an empty turtle shell, some little bones inside. Pretty big turtle, too. Your bug is visiting here in Dallas for awhile. I will try to take it around to some caches here then drop it off somewhere.

Rescued this TB from a wet and icy cache today. The cache was literally full of ice and water to the top and the contents were under water. Unfortunately, the zip lock bag that held the contents of the cache and the zip lock bag that held this TB, both leaked. I have dried out the TB and its zip lock bag. I will get it on its way once I find a dry cache to leave it in. SilverRubicon
