TI joined forces with Geocaching HQ to release 3,000 trackables to help spread math love all around the world. This grand Geocaching adventure is sure to get the math love flowing. Nothing sets an arithmetic aficionado’s heart all aflutter like a good puzzle, and there’s no limit to the joy that these math buddies can bring.



Far out, man! The math buddy you’ve found is all about math love, and really gets super into symmetry with mind-blowing Mandelbrots and tie-dye fractals. Peace!

Now that you’ve found this “Far Out Fractals, Man” math buddy, use the code on the back to log it. Be sure to take your picture with it, and move it to another geocache so that the math love can keep on spreading. ABBREVIATED RULES The 2021 TI Math Love Geocaching Photo Contest is open only to U.S. residents 13 years of age or older. No purchase necessary to enter or win. You can participate by receiving or finding a TI Spread Math Love geocaching trackable game piece from Groundspeak, Inc. and submitting a photograph of it to your public Twitter or Instagram with #SpreadMathLove and #TICacheContest. During each of seven judging periods between June 1 and December 31, 2021, Texas Instruments will award one TI-84 Plus CE calculator or TI-Nspire CX II graphing calculator (7 first-place winners) and four Math Love Swag Packs (28 honorable-mention winners).
