I want to go and see any cabooses in the world. Many parks and museums have a caboose on display. Many have a Geocache on it or nearby. The caboose used to be on the rear end of every freight train but due to rampant cost cutting and technology they are very rarely used anymore.
I am a small N scale Blue The ROCK caboose. The ROCK was originally the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific RR. It was founded in 1847 but was in bankruptcy in the late 70's. It was shut down in 1980 and sold piecemeal to other companies. It was a Midwest railroad. There were just too many railroads in the area and all of them could not make enough money to survive. Unfortunately the ROCK was the one to go out of buisness.
