    I was diagnosed with Diabetes in September 2005 and was put on Insulin shortly after that. I was told that this will be my life from now on. But I did not blindly follow established medical opinion and found this book:

    I started to follow it's recommendations and got better immediately. I was able to discontinue the Insulin injections in January 2006 and I have been fine since then.
