Travel the WORLD and return to a cache in Albuquerque New Mexico USA. The Sun Dog returned to Albuquerque 6/2003 after touring the Northern Hemisphere, and now is ready for a tour of the Southern Hemisphere. Travel on Sun Dog and return back to Albuquerque, NM USA in the future. A side trip to a cache in Antartica would be nice.
The Sun Dog is a circle around the Sun made when the weather changes. It is caused by a thin layer of high ice clouds. It is a harbinger of change. It has been a sign to fishermen to tell them beware of the coming weather.
In this case we are using the symbol to signify the always-good weather of our home state of New Mexico, USA, where it is never more than three days to sunny weather.
