Current Goal

The mission of this coin is to reward the finder, by providing a logable item. Since some hunts are team cache finds this will allow for an introduction of the teams and individuals hunting together.

About This Item

This coin started out from Capture the Flag X. Capture the Flag was a game between the cachers of Rock County, Wi. and Winnebago County Ill. In this game the cheezers or the flatlanders hid a cache with the 'flag'. Then the opposing teams capture the 'flag' and win the right to hide it again. Back and forth across the cheddar curtain. Any number of teams could participate. Even individuals were welcome to give it a go. Game On!
It's was fun time and could be most challenging.
Althought the game has ended there remains a few of the geocache hides; and this geocoin. Happy trails!

Auntienae, solo this evening, with the find. As this is a definite micro cache, your travel bug could only visit. A very creative hide, found only after I bushwacked my brains out .. looked up and there it was.

AuntieNae solo for the find this morning. Another Milwaukee County Park that I did not realize was as big as it is. A nice walk down a dirt path along the creek, I almost thought I might be on the wrong side. Definitely a "rock splitter", easy find. Too small for travel bugs so they could just visit.

I was in Cedarburg this evening to conduct the Pool Cool National Skin Cancer awareness followup surveys with the City of Cedarburg Pool staff. So, of course, I had to grab a local cache. It was a very small container and the final a bit off the traveled path, so I did not leave any travel bugs.

Retrieve It from a Cache 8/9/2004 AuntieNae retrieved it from Landsberg Center Travel Bug Hotel Wisconsin   Visit Log

A very popular Travel Bug hotel here in the Milwaukee area. Your bug just visited this evening as I went to swap bugs to get a few moving towards their goal and to get additional miles logged on yours.

Just checking one of my caches today. It has been plundered a few times so I do not like leaving travel bugs here so they just visited.
