A challenging day of geocaching in Seattle. The weather was cool and overcast. (not too uncommon) I took an 11.3 mile walk around the city during my 24hr layover in SEA before flying the red-eye to IAH tonight. I'm pretty used to all the urban micro and urban nano, but today was more of a challenge the usual. 15 finds, a bunch of DNFs or unable to search due to sever muggle traffic. All-in-all it was a great day, just a challenge.

Back in the USA. Spent night 3 of this 4-day trip in OKC. Too hot to (comfortably) do much caching, but I did got out to grab this one. More caching adventures to come...

What a great caching adventure. On Friday night I traveled 2350 miles south to the equator and Quito, Ecuador (UIO). Very interesting approach into this "special use" mountain airport (from a pilot's perspective) Nice weather for 10 miles of walking around a city at 9200 ft. elevation. Visited the Magic Bean for breakfast, saw some parks and sites, placed a cache, and found a cache. On Sunday morning, fly 2350 miles back to IAH to continue my 4-day trip.

Came down to IAH yesterday for some training before my trip to UIO (Quito, Ecuador) today. I am hoping to do a little caching south of the equator during my 31hr layover. Unfortunately there are few caches in this country and nothing too close to the hotel we stay at. If there is nothing to find, I plan on placing my 3rd cache in this country. I hope to log your travels with me on this adventure.
