This was a quite a funny find. Made an obvious pit stop at the neighboring cache on my way to this one, and decided to take the service road rather than MOPAC it the last leg. My hubby recently treated me to a visit at Cabella's to buy me a fancy "walking stick" as a guilt present for not accompanying (protecting) me on all these adventures. It was a really neat path and perfect for practicing with my new TOTT. I pity the rabid wild eyed animal that dare think I wouldn't use it! I was able to 'neak up on the cache from behind and sat down to get to work. I joyously oogled over my new geocoin buddy, left a super cool sea horse mold in trade, and signed my stage name. I was getting pretty cold and the wind was wicked so I decided to armpit the stick and hit the trail. I was admiring my treasure as I began to high tail it back to my chariat. I thought I heard someone behind me but ignored it in my haste to hover over my heater. The voice grew louder and more persistant so I turned around to see a Game and Parks Ranger tracking me down. I thought "good thing I have this geocoin in my hand as evidence of my "behavior". He asked me if I was okay, and I held it up and called out that I was geocaching. He said, 'Oh Good! I saw you from the highway in the brush with a cane and thought you were a blind person that had wandered off the trail and was lost!" He bid me a succesful hunt and retreated with a smile! I must remember to be extra wary or extra obvious when using this new stick! Might work to my advantage more than I thought! tftc!!!
