Current Goal


I am a travel companion for other travel bugs in their geocaching adventures.
While I am in Australia I would especially like to meet Boomerang Koala. agneau will offer geocaching goodies to the first person who can post a picture of us two travelbugs together. If possible, please move me closer to Boomerang Koala's current location.

I began my life in Gloucestershire, England where my owner Alistro called me Hundo. Alistro gave me as a present to his friend agneau who gave me the rather unimaginative name of Pongo. After eight enjoyable years as a companion to agneau I decided to travel and see the world. But as I hate to be alone, I have chosen to accompany other travel bugs and so I am simply called Travel Buddy.

I hate to be alone and I want to meet as many travel bugs as possible so please always retrieve and place me into caches with another travel bug and try to avoid making me travel with the same one twice. However, if you find that I have been alone in a cache for a long time then please save me and quickly place me in another cache with a travel bug.

agneau is quite concerned for my wellbeing, and will very much appreciate your logs as well as photos of me with my travelling companions. Thank you.

So, spotty pup we meet again. When we first met almost three years ago in 2005, our own spotty dog had just died and we took you over to South Australia and I placed you in one of my own caches. Co-incidentally, we have just returned from another visit to South Australia and I had revisited that cache where I had dropped you off only a few days ago.

Since then, we have now two more spotty pups in the family and they are over two years old. We visited this cache today and although I rarely move travel bugs on these days, I saw you there and after reading the last log, I knew that you had been there alone for almost a year so I took you along for a ride.
