I've rescued Nisse from the blistering heat of the Colorado Eastern plains. Being a Minnesota Gnome, I'm sure he was dying from the heat. Of course if his heart was broken, maybe that is what he would prefer. Nonetheless, we have taken him home to be cooled off and rehydrated along with those of us who went out in the heat to retrieve him. Once he's back on his feet. he's off to the high country where he can watch the turning of the aspens. Who knows, maybe there are other gnomes in the area. We hope to have him there in a couple of weeks.

Saved Nisse from the mosquitoes this morning about 6:00am. He is in great shape and is wearing a sign Minneapolis or Bust. As I spoke to him, I learned that even though he had been in Colorado for some time, he still hadn't been up into the mountains yet. After a little coaxing, he's agreed to go on a mountain adventure with me. We'll keep you posted on his whereabouts.
