About This Item

This if the fourth in my Piton TB series. I started rock climbing at about the time "clean" climbing became popular (back in the 70's), but still have a collection of pitons from many climbing adventures throughout the west. This type is called a Bugaboo, after the range of Mountains in British Columbia. But pitons are not happy in old rucksacks. They still yearn to visit the lofty heights and rocky crags wherever those may be. Please keep the Bitterroot Bugaboo on its journey to mountaintops that are only accessible by foot!--urbn4str--

On a beautiful day with my wonderful niece, we hiked to the summit of Snow Peak (also known as Goat Peak). Saw some goats but more important, had a great time sharing a beautiful summit. I found this the White and Wild-Snow Peak cache a year ago, but this was my niece's very first cache find! Surprisingly, my own travel bug was within (place by another cacher). Since this was almost a year ago, I decided I better move it on myself, so I grabbed my own bug. Onward and upward . . .
