About This Item

Commemorative coin to celebrate 20 years of one of the most iconic geocaches in the history of the game!  Mission 9: Tunnel of Light was established in July 2001 in the mountain passes east of Seattle.  It was one of 9 caches themed around the recent movie release The Planet of the Apes and became known as simply the APE cache.  Of the original 9 only two are still active.
