About This Item

Arundel Castle

This travel bug was released by Mrs. Higginbotham's Kindergarten class and Mrs. Wolfe's 2nd grade class at Arundel School in San Carlos, CA. We would like to see the castle for which our school was named. If we could stop by other castles on the way and have our photo taken that would be great! Once we have reached our goal we would love to have the travel bug back at our school.

There will be a series of in/outs here as I drop these in the nearest travel bug caches and back out from being lost by airlines. I figured the least we could do was to log their miles travelled over the last 2 days.

The travel bugs all went from Atlanta, Georgia to Arizona, California, Washington State, Idaho, and then to my house in Utah.(now if only the airlines could do this for me!)

Phoenix, We have a problem.

The travel bugs got checked in my baggage (they were forcing us to check all carryons b/c flight storage was full) and viola - the full moon took over. Worst flight ever, and yes, they lost my bags - complete with all the travel bugs inside - someplace between Atlanta, Phoenix, and Salt Lake.

Hopefully the airline will find the bags and I'll be able to get these on their way, but wanted to let you know what's up. Will post more when I have more info. (I guess this travel bug wanted its own adventure without me *sniff.)

10/19/05 Edit:

Well, I got my bags late late last night and all the travel bugs going west were located and found. They apparently went from Phoenix Arizona to someplace in California, then on to Washington state and Idaho before returning to Salt Lake. I just hope they enjoyed their extra flight hops and etc. ;-)

I'll get these all updated, pics taken in salt lake, and sent on their way in the next few days.

Got this at the 4th annual Georgia geocacher's event. I'm taking it home to Utah with me. I know it's not quite there yet, but it's at least getting closer and closer to home. Thanks!
