Whether we travel east or west or north - we always stop as this sign, which, as Yunta, we see as a milestone, 1500km of road from home (measured by GPS track). Sometimes, we just stop to show the typical outback sign to our overseas family and friends, even when not heading north. Sometimes, there are interesting things to see - like the camels who have been here for a while - and now are gone again.

Yesterday, I sent an SMS to Ian the Geologist from Adelaide, how weather and conditions are out there this time of the year - I hoped, it might be a bit cooler this year with all the clouds and rain. The answer: "Will be hot, there has been much rain and so wildflowers are out. Roads good, no running water. Doug Sprigg drove to Arkaroola Tuesday and reported good conditions".

Apropos cache - our first real smile along the way! Surprisingly, it did not take us long! I remember another innovative one, where I spent hours and hours, coming back several times - but this one was in our hands straight away! Maybe, we just held onto it by coincidence - hahaha - well done, mate! This deserves a travel bug to leave: Brum (TBGRBD).
