Current Goal

I got one of these for 2022.  I placed this on a stick that I found at the Falls of the Ohio park.  Works GREAT for a hiking stick.  I get a hiking stick medalion at each State and National park that we visit.  Both of these badges are to track every cache that I visit and re-visit for a specific year.  This one is for 2023. In 2022 I logged  560 caches/events for 2022, and 10,555 miles. Lets see if I can blow that out of the water in 2023!!!!  See you on the trails!!!!!!

UPDATE: The year wasn't as good caching as I hoped. I am showing 326 new finds, 333 total visits, and 7,455.6 miles logged. WAY under last years results. I am not sure how accurate that is though. I have had troubles with the "Bulk Logging" on Geooh Go. It doesn't seem to log all TB's every time. But this is close to what I feel like I had. I may check down the road when I have more time. I also added 43 new counties to my finds. 15 of those are Kentucky counties. Only 17 more counties and I have the Kentucky County Challenge completed. That is my biggest goal for 2024. Hopefully, 2024 will be better with more time for caching. Already have one trip on the books for the Keys next month!!!

    Finally back home. But not done. Just checking on a few things at home, and dropping off a couple of TB's at my HUGE TB Motel (GC9Z63A Springfield Hitch Hikers Shelter TB Motel) in Springfield KY. Check it out. Next...going to my girlfriend's cache to drop off a few. By the way. The tiny house in the photo...IS the geocache.

    Okay. So I got JUST ONE MORE before getting on the road home. I stopped for a bite to eat...and it was too close not to hit. Next cache is a little over am hour south and one more county to knock off.
