This stop was at the abandoned Trundy Point Observation Tower in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. It's a historic military tower that was used to detect and locate enemy vessels offshore at the end of WW 2. The tower is open and you can climb to the top for a neat view.
We stopped at The Portland Breakwater Light (also called Bug Light) in South Portland, Maine today. This was a hard cache, and it took me three visits to find it. A great spot to visit though.
