This cache is just off old Hwy 30. It was a rest area and historic spot before I-80 was built. The cache is hidden in the foundation of where the Lincoln Monument originally sat. It is higher than the I-80 rest area and has a great view.

This was my first Wyoming find. It was also a very interesting hide. The exit ramp circles around a huge rock pinnacle. The cache was near the top. Quite a climb!! I was mostly concerned about snakes. At home those openings under the rocks can be deadly. It was probably too cold but I looked anyway. The sun was out and I didn't need a jacket.

This little park located in Spanish Fork, UT was surrounded by homes. Most of them had dogs. They were all barking when we walked in. This is my last western stop. Tomorrrow we head east.

Went to the Golden Spike National Historic Site today in Promontory Point, UT. Stopped at the ATK Rocket Display on the way. Both were interesting.
