The piece is called simply “Eye”, and was created by artist Tony Tasset in 2007. It stands 30 feet tall, and is modeled after Tasset’s own baby blues. This enormous, hyper-realistic eyeball with streaky red veins and all can be found outside of the swanky Joule Hotel in Downtown Dallas off Main Street.

Welcome to my Alma Mater, Arizona State University. Phoenix Municipal Stadium is a baseball stadium, located in Phoenix, Arizona. It is often referred in short as Phoenix Muni. The stadium was built in 1964 and holds 8,775 people. It is currently the home to the Arizona State Sun Devils baseball program. Founded in 1885, ASU is one of the largest public universities by enrollment in the United States. Go Devils! 😈🔱⚾️

Stopping by an old warehouse in downtown Phoenix where the entire surface is covered with highway signs. Signs like “Do Not Pass,” “Reduced Speed Ahead,” and “Keep Right Except to Pass.” There are more than 500 of them. You will notice that integrated into the signs are the numbers 1912 and 2012, denoting Arizona’s 100 years of statehood. 🚸⚠️

Snowflake’s history began in 1878 when five families, led by William J. Flake, settled in the Silver Creek Valley. Flake and the other families were sent by the Mormon Church President Brigham Young to establish religious colonies throughout the southwest. In September, 1878, Flake met with Mormon Apostle Erastus Snow, who was dedicating the new Mormon colonies. The two men named the new community by combining their last names, Snow and Flake. ❄️

From its signature swimming pool to its retractable roof, Chase Field has become one of the game's most recognizable landmarks. Since the air-conditioned facility first opened its doors to a regular-season game on March 31, 1998, millions of baseball fans have enjoyed the opportunity to watch the Arizona Diamondbacks without worrying about Phoenix's summer heat or monsoon storms. 🐍⚾️
