My inlaws gave us a GPS for Christmas. My husband and I found our first cache the day after Christmas, then thought it might be nice tion invite the in-laws along on a hunt so they could see what on Earth we do with a GPS. We quickly looked up a couple near their house and went over. My sister-in-law was home for the Christmas holidays so she decided to accompany us. The it turned out my brother-in-law, who is a paramedic, had the night off, so we all set out. What a group we made. Gathering all these people took a little time so we ended up leaving a little late. Ended up in the woods when the sun set. Thank goodness the GPS has a backlight. We had a great time tromping around and getting lost. Finally found the site, but couldn't find the cache to save our lives. Curse the darkness! We all decided to retun the next day and found the cache on the 2nd. It was really easy in the daylight! We had never seen a travel bug, but she looked like she needed a friend, so we picked her up. Came home and read about her. We will do our best to move her along her journey. Everyone had such a good time that my in-laws are looking at the purchase of additional GPSs. We took Eye of Pat and left a travel alarm clock.
