Grandpa Buddy's Bug

My Grandfather, Samuel "Buddy" Elliott, gave me this keychain several years ago. He passed away in 2000 and I thought this would be a fun way to honor his memory.

He had a rare and special gift. He could meet a total stranger; in the store, in the park, on his daily walks - anywhere - and in a few minutes they would be having a conversation. Even in this age of suspicion, cynicism and rudeness, I never witnessed or had recounted to me a single time he was rebuffed. He had an endless supply of stories, witticisms and jokes. He had a hearty laugh, an operatic tenor singing voice and a round belly. He always needed someplace to go, "I have itchy feet" he always said.

So lets prevent those "itchy feet" and keep Buddy traveling along!

I have been watching this cache and when I saw that a bug had arrived I went and got it. I had never seen one before and thought it would be interesting to see how they work. I will be sure to leave it in an interesting place.
