Current Goal

This TB was originally named Flee-The-Flakes Frosty and his goal was to escape the cold of Central New York and travel to warm and sunny places. He was last seen in Florida, where the heat did him in in 2005, never to be seen or heard from again. We are therefore re-purposing his TB Tag as our personal TB, keeping track of our travels.

About This Item

Flee-The-Flakes Frosty was desperate to get out of town in order to avoid yet another winter of the bitter-cold temperatures, ice, sleet, and hip-deep snow (well, actually his hips WERE snow!) that are the norm in Syracuse, New York, the snowiest metropolitan city in the whole country. He'd had enough! He'd done his research and knew that there was much more to life than wearing a carrot nose and melting every time the sun shone. Flee-The-Flakes had packed his bag and planned to hitchhike to sunny and warm locations wherever kind strangers might have taken him. His goal was to spend the four seasons enjoying sand, surf, and sunshine. He'd hoped to someday return to the place where he was rolled and stacked. Instead, he must have melted in a cache box or been lunch for a gator. Who knows! Now his TB # can be spotted on our car whenever we're out and about, and can be logged by cachers as a find in memory of Flee-The-Flakes Frosty.

Frosty was chilling in Wrightsville Beach when we found him. We picked him up while on vacation, but instead of taking him back north with us, we will try to drop him off in the Outer Banks - the next leg of our trip. Go Orange!
