Current Goal

My goal is to travel to a stash (ie 'Santa Clara Divide') in (the near of) Santa Clara, USA where Linus Torvalds works at Transmeta Corp.. On my way to USA, i want to see many different countries and people who using/developing opensource-apps and bring them luck for the short time i'm staying with them.

This is the first time I've found a travel bug! I am especially excited because this bug is related to Linux and open source software, and I am part of the open source software community - I'm a Java developer. Until recently I led the uPortal project http://www.uportal.org . Now I make occasional contributions to Apache MyFaces http://myfaces.apache.org . I also use Gentoo Linux.

I am visiting relatives in Poway, CA at the moment, and plan to drop off the travel bug at a cache in my home town of Los Angeles, CA later this week.
