"The Green Machine Lives'" mission is to have it's picture taken with other Plymouth automobiles, any model or year, around the world, running or not. Pictures of it with it's cousins from Chrysler, Dodge, Desoto, Imperial, Jeep, AMC, Eagle, etc... are also welcome. Hopefully some of the Green Machine's Karma will be passed on to the owners of these vehicles so that they may enjoy them for years to come.
Do Not transport this bug by plane. This bug is the hood emblem from the actual Green Machine. It is a little bigger than most T.B.'s and may not fit in smaller tupperware containers.

Sometime in 1969, a light metallic green Plymouth Fury III rolled off the assembly line. At some point it made it's way to Stafford, CT where it became famous. Since I became acquanted with this car back in the 80's, it has done everything: It has pulled several pickups out of snowbanks, raced and beat camaros and mustangs (during the 4bbl days), served on the fire department, amatuer radio communications station, daily driver, little old lady's sunday driver, brush clearing (driving through saplings to create trails), and countless other tasks. Even though the Green Machine perfomed her duties for over thirty years, time and repeated abuse has finally caught up with her and sealed her fate. Although the Green Machine has retired, this travel bug will hopefully keep her spirit alive and generate new stories to tell.
The actual bug is the "PLYMOUTH" emblem from the hood of the car. It is a little long and may not fit in some of the smaller tupperware containers so keep that in mind when planning to place it. Also, please do not transport this item by plane. Even though the Fury was an example of Chrysler's "fuselage styling" motif of the late 60's, the green machine accrued all of it's 300,000+ miles on the ground, so this T.B. should follow suit...
Thanks,
