North, South, East or West, it does not matter. Please Keep my favorite fishing lure near water. Send pictures of great fishing spots.

About This Item

As you can see this lure has seen some heavy duty. It has never failed and has been my go to lure, when nothing else is working. When you touch it, you have been bitten by the "Fishing Bug" even though there are no teeth visible. Anglers will appreciate the good luck it will bring when in your possession. Canada or South America would be nice places for the "Fishing Bug" to visit. However, there are many great places in the good old U.S.A. Thanks for your help in my travels.

Retrieve It from a Cache 12/28/2003 irishcod5 retrieved it from Tetazoo Connecticut   Visit Log

Took a nostalgic walk and retraced the steps Bags and I took some 21 months ago to find our first ever cache. The fishing bug TB caught my eye and I reeled him to send him along to other fishing adventures.

  • Fishing Bug at Tetazoo The fishing bug poses in front of the "catch and release" sign near the Tetazoo cache. Somewhat appropriate for a travel bug, I thought. DraigAthar took the photo, and that's me you see grinning like an idiot.

Watched the Trophy Cachers drop it in the ammo can (at #2 of the multi), and picked it straight back out.

I'm not a fisher, but our next travels are likely to take us along the CT coast so I'll find a nice cache there to drop him off in. As for being bit ... I knew something was nibbling at me as I walked - I thought it was mosquitoes, but I guess it could have been the fish all along.

Grabbed it from NJ Easter Egg Cache this afternoon🙂... VERY MUGGY & HOT 😛... Might as well have been raining as we were soaked from sweat when we got back to the car... and the skitters' were as thick as dive bombers at the Battle of Midway!!! 💀 and just as deadly...

Grabbed this from it's lofty perch (this must be one of those flying fish). Will place it in another cache soon - thats after I build my ark and find some dry land!!!
