This is a traveling book which is also a clue to a certain puzzle cache in the Sacramento Valley.  Hmmm, I wonder which one? Please use it to solve the puzzle but don't move it out of the valley. Thanks!

Hmmm, where to start? It's a long story, so I'll forbear, but suffice it to say this book caused me and others plenty of head-scratching. I share it with you in the hopes that you'll not have to go to quite the lengths we did to find it and uncover its secrets. The author was even nice enough to autograph it for me!
