Current Goal

Lonny, wants to play in the NHL and is deciding to take a road trip to find a place to play. Lonny wants to take a trip through the birthplace of Hockey, CANADA! Please help him along his trip and put him in caches in Canada. He wants to be home in Oregon by the Stanley Cup final game of 2003.

Lonnie the Hawkey Twin

Lonny is the oldest of twins. And his brother Lanny is currently traveling about looking for his own NHL team. Lonny is named after a Portland Winterhawk player Lonny Bohonos, who played in the early 1990s. Both brothers are hockey lovers and would love to see the hockey towns all over. Lonny's home cache is Hotshot Hill in Zigzag, Oregon.

Well the boy is home from his one year hockey trip. We picked him up on the 5th of June, just in time to see the last few games of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Neither team I was rooting for made it, but it was a good series. Thank you to all of you who helped Lonny get around and see the sights. We still are waiting for his brother to show up, he is somewhere on the East coast waiting to be released. Have a great summer of Geocaching. Poi-Dog and Maui Gal

Found this rugged looking hockey player and his papers said he needed to go back to Oregon...hey! we're from Oregon visiting Canada! So we took him with us. We we place him here very soon.
