Fan Smurfette enjoyed participating with the Great Western Bicycle Rally over Memorial Day weekend with about 1300 bicyclists from all over California. She got to meet about a dozen new and veteran cachers too and enjoy some bicycling and caching before going off to new adventures.

Fan Smurfette rode the I Care Classic http://www.icareclassic.org/index.shtml with Bykenut today. She was amazed to see all the wildflowers along the roads. This cache was located right on the route.

Today Fan Smurfette joinned Bykenut on the Delta Century, a one day bicycle tour sponsored by the Stockton Bicycle Club http://www.sbclub.org/sbc/ in the San Joaquin delta area in the Central Valley of California. Due to the heavy rains this year, Fan Smurfette was treated to roads filled with walls of wildflowers, in addition to endless vineyards, levees, and wine tasting after the ride.

This cache that Fan Smurfette visited today was located about a mile from the first reststop of the ride.
