I had held onto Buddha Buddy for long enough, so it was time for us to part ways (after one more rub on the belly). This cache seems to move TBs pretty well. I loaded it up with bugs and coins and they were all gone within a few weeks, so Buddha should be on his way soon.

Adventure #2 is complete. Buddha Buddy went skydiving with me today. Three jumps from 14,000 feet AGL! Here are a couple of pictures of Buddha on my skydiving gear after the third jump. Sorry for the trauma. Buddha Buddy should recover completely. Actually, I think he kind of liked it! He looks like he's laughing. I'll move this bug along soon.

I picked up this little fatty from the airport today. He's going to go do some indoor skydiving with me in a few hours at the Orlando SkyVenture wind tunnel, then I'll move him on.

  • The SkyVenture indoor skydiving wind tunnel This place generates winds over 120 mph inside a circular tube that you can fly in, just like in freefall (but without the danger).
  • A kid flying inside the wind tunnel Kids seem to be naturals at this and pick up on it very quickly. This little girl was giggling and laughing the whole time.
  • The instructor and a student in the wind tunnel The instructors here are just amazing. Their flying skills are incredible and they are very friendly, helpful, and patient with the students.
