To travel with TJTucson1 enjoying the geocaching experience. Showing others the fun of getting out into the wild and rocking the geocache experience. This species of concern is only found in Arizona Geocaches. With only 12 known individuals to exist the Arizona Geo Mouse (Peromyscus terram arizonicus) special care must be used when found or discovered in the wild. To discover one of these in the wild is truely an experience. Known to use geocache sites for homes and travel with geocachers, they are only seen on occasion.

No critical habitat rules have been published for the Arizona Geo Mouse. However, geocache site may be potential habitats should have limited disturbance. When inspecting the area around a suspected geocache site, the cacher should limit the amount of disturbance in the area, remove liter and other potentially harmful garbage, and after locating the small container replace as found or in better condition.
