This was the first official Geocache trip for my newly formed group of Universal Unitarians. There were about 15 of us wandering all over all the trails having a great day looking for the cache and generally being together with each other and our Minister, Lucy. It was a beautiful day and a couple of us decided that we wanted to go down the hill using the BLUE trail. We had no idea that it went over the giants head. Beautiful sights, sheer rock ascents and descents, seeing forever all around central Connecticut....but very tiring! Should have brought water, but next time I will know better. At the cache I took the trave bug and left a whistle with lanyard. Very nice and relatively easy cache to get the new UU Group used to caching. I am sure there will be more, and one of the people is a girl scout leader--she is already thinking about bringing the girls caching too. I hope I can get the bug westward soon.
