Current Goal

This TB wants to travel in honor of my Aunt Bessie, who was a trucker. Her call name was Echo (hence the name). It would like to visit: Hobbs, NM; San Diego, CA; Bakersfield, CA; Wickenburg, AZ; Grand Rapids, MI. After all of those, it would like to head back to Salt Lake City, UT, to meet back up with the owner.

This Travel Bug is in honor of my Aunt Bessie. She was a long haul trucker that had a great (crazy) personality. This travel bug wants to visit many places, all of which have meaning.

Hobbs, NM - Where her daughter's family is.
San Diego, CA - Where she lived and loved to be.
Bakersfield, CA - Where her daughter was born.
Wickenburg, AZ - Where she was born.
Grand Rapids, MI - Where she died.

Bessie loved in order: her daughter; her family; big trucks and butterflies. For being so petite she found a career she loved in the big trucks. Her passing was sudden and very unexpected. After reaching it's goal locations this travel bug will roam the lower 48 in her honor, with an occasional visit to Salt Lake City, UT.

Please take MANY pictures along the way, and hopefully there are MANY stories! Thanks.

Found in Avalon View cache on Catalina Island in California. Will use the TB for a Cub Scout Leader training in two weeks and then send it on its way. Wish I was headed to MN, but will do my best to give it some miles. Wonderful idea for a TB. Should mention that when found, the butterfly was in three pieces but rubberbanded together.

Picked up on the way to Willow Heights - An amazing hike!
