Current Goal

I was panned on July 4, 2003. I have spent my existence at the bottom of a mountain since the beginning of time so I want to see what it is like on top of the mountains. Please take me to as many mountain highway summits as you can get me to. I want to hit the heights. Please get a photo of me going over the summit along with the summit altitude sign. After I get unique photos totalling 100,000 feet, send me home to Sparks, NV.

---After the first trip, I hit 45,000 feet so it won't be hard to get to 250,000 so let's go for 250,000 feet!!

Well, I picked this up on Saturday evening in Yreka and took it with me into the mountains and then back down to San Francisco..

The Good news.. Mountain passes and summits,

The Bad news.. all at night.. no photos...sorry.

Here is the summary

Fort Jones Pass: 4060 (twice if that counts, In and Out)
Etna Summit: 5950 (again twice - see "CREST CACHE" for a photo)
Mount Shasta (see earlier photos): About 5000 I think, missed the sign.

In the Bay Area, perhaps someone call take it up to Mt. Diablo????

Meantime, the gold will be deposited in the Waiting For the Mail Cache in about a week.

Going on a trip to CO next week and thought this would be the perfect one to take along...there are a couple summits there that might suffice :-)
