About This Item

Setterquist MIA Bracelet TB

I am a Vietnam Missing In Action (MIA) Bracelet. My owner wore me non-stop from 1988 until 1993 (5 years). Capt Francis L Setterquist was from my hometown of Cloquet, Minnesota. He was a pilot in the US Air Force, when his jet was shot down in Vietnam.

WOW! I'm so excited to hear that this TB has finally made it to the memorial wall in Washington DC. Watch for a future posting here, as to its final destination. Maybe my hometown, and Capt. Setterquists hometown VFW in Cloquet Minnesota would be interested in displaying it along with a story of its travels? Thanks to all who helped move this very special travel bug along its trip. I am glad to announce that I was finally able to get down into D.C today and actually got to the Vietnam Memorial. As a special bonus, I also got a rubbing of his name. Im am proud to be able to give this its closure.

  • The bracelet finally next to its owner's name
  • Being artistic with the names on the panel the Capt.'s name is 6 rows from the bottom and in the center of that row

It was by pure luck that I ran into indy76km in ME while looking for another cache. We got to talking and when I told her I live in Maryland, she told me about this trackable she had. Now I have it and would be honored to take it to Washington D.C. when I return to MD
