Current Goal

To see how the other half lives—the freshwater half, that is! With special technology developed by his friend, Cache Cowfish (GC15BRJ), Eddy is able to leave his saltwater home! He wants to explore lakes and meet their inhabitants in all their diversity and study them and their cultures. Thanks to Cowfish’s technology, Eddy will not eat his subjects or human users of lakes. (It’s still safe to go into the water!) Please help Eddy by taking him to lakes—mountain ones, briny ones, swampy ones, large ones, small ones, deep ones, shallow ones, resort ones or secluded ones. Pictures would be appreciated so that we can be sure that Eddy is studying hard! ; )

Sorry it took me so long to drop off Eddy. I grabbed him to take to Prince George at Christmas but was unable to get to several water related caches up north. Ended up putting him on the shores of Skaha Lake. It's a very nice lake and he will enjoy his visit. The Good news is he is quite close to a very nice campsite where traveling Geocachers are likely to stop.

Eddy decided it was time to swim the waters of Lake Okanagan but a little further North.

Retrieved Eddy from Leader Lake. I think he is ready for some saltwater. Hope to move him closer.

Eddy shark has now travelled from his last cache in the Kootenays down the Kaslo River and into Kootenay Lake; south on the lake and along Kootenay River to the Columbia. He has had to jump several dams and sneak across the border at Waneta. He has travelled the length of Lake Roosevelt; stopped for a powwow on the Colville Reservation, jumped over Grand Coulee and Chief Joe Dams and took a hard right up the Okanogan River. After about 20 miles of upriver swimming, he took a huge leap up the hill to Leader Lake, a nice little lake stocked with trout and (illegally) planted with blue gill, crappie and bass. The lake is used as an irrigation reservoir so this time of year is it very low, which is making for some awesome fishing. We promise not to let him get stuck here for the winter when the lake freezes.

Grabbed the bug from it's pretend spot, placed it in Fish Lake, where we found it, and now have it in our possession, cruising for water.
