Today, Migrating Duck made a new Thai friend at GC1926H ("Watched by pretty Thai girls").
It was raining a lot, but the cache-guard was really friendly so it was worth it!

Migrating Duck visited the River Kwai with the world famous bridge today.
As the closest cache is more than 4 kilometers away, I only upload a picture here.

After that, we ended up on the River Kwai Jungle Rafts - this is a very remote location - far off from any civilization. There is only a single cache "nearby" which is basically marking the end of the civilized world (since it was place some years ago, it was only once discovered).

Finally, we both went to the Hellfire Pass and the nearby museum. Fascinating day for the little duck!

  • At the Hellfire Pass The pass is noted for the harsh conditions and heavy loss of life during construction. Hellfire Pass is so called because the sight of emaciated prisoners laboring at night by torchlight was said to resemble a scene from Hell.
