Grab It (Not from a Cache) 1/3/2009 Dr Y521 grabbed it   Visit Log

I found this one in a completely different cache from where it was supposed to be. This TB isn't so much racing as staggering.

Dropped Off 2/6/2008 Sir PhilPamAndRob placed it in Alta Vista I - Liverpool highest United Kingdom - 19.01 miles  Visit Log

There are very few caches in Liverpool, the county town of Merseyside, and virtually all are micros. However, this new cache appeared in January and is large enough to accommodate TBs and coins. So in order to score Country Town point, it really had to be this cache.

Out and about on a snowy morning and came across three more drive-by trig points. Normally I'd drive-by, but not when I've got racer TBs with me :

Burtonwood, Cheshire – Location SJ 56591 91885. Plaque Number S3477 Type : Pillar

Higher Whitley, Cheshire – Location SJ 63452 80065. Plaque Number S2731 Type : Pillar

    Hoylake, Wirral Cheshire – Location : SJ 24048 87844 Type : Rivet

    • Burtonwood Trig Pillar
    • Higher Whitly Trig Pillar
    • Hoylake Rivet

So theres points for trig POINTS. Most people just know Trig Pillars (the big white blocks of concrete), but there are several other types. This morning the TB visited the two other types at Daresbury

Fundamental Bench Mark (FBM) Location : SJ 57737 82364, and the active station at the CLRC Daresbury Laboratory, location : SJ 57455 83290.

The photo of the latter is poor as it was dark, but the active station in the aerial just left and up from the illuminated window (to the right of the drainpipe)

Thats 20 more points in the bag for this racer!

This NW racer has met a SE racer TB in my caching bag - thats 25 juicy points! The SE racer is "Flash Harry! SE Cachers 2008 Race Bug" code TB21JG6.
Took a photo of them together, so does that double the points to 50? I'll let you decide!

We took a photograph of this next to Chester Challenge, a nano in a county town, so think it should be awarded plenty of points. Here is a photo of it outside Chester Library (although to be fair it could be Foinavon's)
