On 8/17/15 the BeachBums! along with JoyfulNomad & Team Moehrke boarded a flight to Alsaka for some Geocaching. However this wasnt a usual vacation to the 50th state. They flew from Washington to Alaska and back all within 10 hours. Equipped with cell phone, GPS's, extra batteries, TB's, & jackets (Mr. BeachBums! did not have a jacket and was in shorts) They found a total of 11 caches and WALKED (yes there was no vehicle involved) around 13 miles that day.
GREAT GEOCACHING MEMORIES.
