Current Goal

Travel the world, hopping from cache to cache within a couple miles (interpret loosely) of any ocean, river, stream, creak, lake, pond or oversized puddle. Share pictures of you, the cache area, and the bug if you can.

About This Item

This bug is a "Nam" pacificer, ( Light blue button, white shield; natural latex nipple that might not last too long. :)) purchased in 2002 at a Babies "R" Us in California. Subsequently coveted by Windzombie's Gremmie #1 for many months before it "disappeared" for safety reasons.

I haven't told Gremmie #1 yet. At 3.5 years, he's not old enough to not freak out about it being gone, and he has plenty of others. I'd like this former owner of the "giga" (pronounced "GEE-gah") to enjoy learning about places, especially coasts and oceans while tracking this bug in the years to come.

Aloha --Windzombie

While introducing a friend to the sport of geocaching, we discovered "Blue Giga" in "Cache 'n Crack". Growing up, I remember refering to these as a "binky". With my newborn, we just bought her first "Nuk". My wife refers to it as a "Bobo" (in Spanish). How many other names are there for these things??

Sorry it took "Giga" so long to resurface! Moonshine Creek in Western N.C. was a pretty place to be (no fishing though!). Check out the picture of the scenery. Now I'm closer to Washington D.C. Maybe someone can take fun pictures of my new home! It's Baaaadacious!
