Yella Sam's mission is to go wherever the heck you wanna take him... just don't bore him to death. He has always enjoyed jumping feet-first into dicey situations and he would appreciate some adventure-- and he would appreciate it NOW, soldier, NOW! Get on it!
Yella Sam is a Sky-Diving Poopa-Trooper. I'm not exactly sure what a Poopa-Trooper is but I'm not gonna ask 'cause he seems a little tense at the moment.
He has a working parachute but before tossing him up in the air to demonstrate, please remove his dogtag and chain to avoid tangling. Yella Sam doesn't like that tangling stuff. I can tell you that from experience.
As you can see from the picture, Yella Sam has buddies. Just a word to the wise, that's all.

I received a postcard from YellaSam the other day. I don't know how he managed this but it doesn't even have a postmark. I thought it odd to see a postcard on the ground beside the mailbox and that it had a tiny little parachute (about the size of a quarter) attached. I didn't think much about it until I saw the microscopic hand-writing on the back of the card. I ran into the house to get my best magnifying glass.
YellaSam tells me he is fine and having the adventurous life he always wanted, so don't worry about him. He apologized for his abrupt manner when we first met and says he has mellowed a lot since then. He disappeared after meeting someone and says it was a great surprise to him that girl Poopa-troopers even existed.
Yellasam sends his best to his buddies and to all of us.

PS- I'm virtually picking up his travel-bug tag since Sam tells me he won't be using it anymore. "It kept getting tangled in the chute", he says.

Yella Sam is alive!! I retrieved it from the archived Chunky River Bridge cache and didn't realize he was in the box. He has spent the last few months stashed away in the trunk of my wifes car. Since arriving in my house he has survived nearly being eaten by a shark!! (see picture). I hope to move him to a new location soon.
