Current Goal

This Trackable is found on the highly-competitive FTF (first-to-find a geocache) hunt in Seattle. The honor from finding the Seattle FTF Bell is immeasurable, and the bearers of this Bell should be accorded the respect and bragging rights due to these infamous cachers. Ideally, the Bell is displayed prominently by the tireless cacher while searching for those elusive FTFs. Some might say that this is to give the rest of us a chance, but truly this honor transcends such petty utilitarian goals.

This Trackable should stay with the finder, and be re-hidden (off-site as a FTF prize) in a new Seattle cache, ideally within two months of finding it. As it is meant to be found and logged with an FTF, please do not discover the Bell, but feel free to write a note. All members of a co-FTF team may log the Bell, of course.  In addition, please no "visits" to caches because it clogs this page, but logging a visit to events is encouraged!

If you forsee that you are unable to place the Seattle FTF Bell in a new cache within Seattle in the suggested time period, please contact the owner (quigquay), and we will find someone who will be able to do so. You will remain on the list of finders, of course.

Hello old friend! It’s been a while. I’ve been hoping to see you again as I already have a hide in mind.

That’s a lot of TBs! Still don’t see mine:(

UPDATE:
The Seattle FTF Bell will soon be released in a new cache by Gulliver_Snip. Happy Hunting, cachers!
In addition, it is time for me to retire from maintaining the Seattle FTF Bell page, and hand over ownership to a more active cacher. quigquay has generously offered to take it over, so I transferring it over to him. Thank you, everyone, for making those hunts for the Seattle FTF Bell fun and challenging for over 20 years. May it remain active and engaging for at least 20 more.
Take care and treat each other well!
Jim

TM, I would be happy to take over maintenance of the Bell once it's found.

Hi, everyone!
I am trying to track it down. I don't have a premium account and so rely on those that log a FTF on the Bell. The last known location was in the Connect 4 cache, and whoever FTF'd that cache (if anyone) didn't write a log for the Seattle FTF Bell.
Wow! The Seattle FTF Bell has been popping up around Seattle for over 20 years now!

If were only the Bell trackable, I would probably retire it at this point, but there are 37 other trackables attached to it.... Once found, would anyone local to Seattle be interested in taking over the oversight of this trackable. The only caveat would be that it stays in Seattle.

Thanks,
Jim
aka Team Maccabee

So is the bell in hibernation? Coming out anytime soon? It's been nearly a year since it's been rung and it's still listed in the last cache it was placed in.

DM&K Cachers, I have verified your FTF with the cache owner, and am adding your name to the list. Please note, everyone, that I do not have premium access and rely on FTF logs on this page in order to determine who should be acknowledged for an FTF. Remember to log your FTF on the Seattle FTF Bell page.
On that note: Did anyone FTF the most recent 2025 caches: Seattle First[TF] & Bell and Connect 4? If so what were the names and dates of the FTFs?

While reviewing the list of honored FTFers of the Seattle Bell over the years, I noticed that my solo honor from 5/28/24 was never added to the list. I declined the option to create an ensuing puzzle, but that shouldn't negate my achievement....
