The Targa Florio was an open road endurance race held in the mountains of Sicily near Palermo. Founded in 1906, it was the oldest sports car racing event, part of the World Sportscar Championship between 1955 and 1973. The Circuito Piccolo delle Madonie was used from 1932-1936 and 1951-1977. It was 72 kilometres (45 mi) long, and was lapped 11 times.
To follow the Circuito Piccolo delle Madonie, then you will need to find caches "Targa Florio 01, 02, 03, 04, & 05". If these first caches prove popular, then I wil add more to mark out the other routes used.
