When you ask most people who live in Solano County if they know where Birds Landing is, most would probably reply that they'd never even heard of it. Nestled in the Montezuma Hills and under the shadow of the many wind turbines that dot this area, this town deserves a second look. When I was younger I used to come out here to visit the post office when I used to collect stamps. I always thought the building was funny: it looks more suited to be a tool shed than a post office! Once I heard it's one of the smallest post offices in California. Today you unfortunately cannot visit the post office, as it closed several years ago. You can however, enjoy a drink at the local tavern or visit the local hunting range. As for me, I'll stick to caching and enjoying the scenic byways that surround this town. I hope that you too, will give this town a second look! Cache should be easy to find. Please rehide with plenty of natural camo. Small swag can be put in and BYOP. Parking might be tight but I squeezed out some space.
Congrats to spiritofkaos1 and darknight2003 on the FTF!
