Geocache Description:

There are many trails and several access points to this area. You need to use the location given above for the trail head to enter so that you can find the clues.It is on the street that the picture shows below.
You will stay on well defined trails until near the cache when the trail becomes a narrower path for a short distance. The other two signs in the photos are correct there is lots of wildlife in the area, including many deer, waterfowl, eagles, grouse, weasels/mink, lots of songbirds and huge slugs.

You need to get these clues along the way to find the first waypoint that will allow you to determine the second waypoint. These points were both averaged 500+ times by the GPS so should be pretty accurate.

Clue 1 What is the number on the mailbox closest to the trail head?

Clue 2 On the first wooden bridge that you cross there are bolts holding the railing in place what is the number on the bolts and how many digits is this number? Bolts are getting hard to read so I will give you this until I fix a new clue see the encription.

Clue 3 On the second wooden bridge that you cross how many flat boards make up the deck of the main bridge span. (Ignore any boards that are on edge)

Clue 4 How many live elephants have you seen so far on this trail. (Ignore any you saw earlier today)

Set up this code breaker:

# ON MAIL BOX

___=A ___=B ___=C

# ON BOLT

___=D ___=E ___=F ___=G

# OF BOARDS

___=H ___=I

# OF DIGITS ON BOLT

___=J

# OF LIVE ELEPHANTS ON TRAIL

___=K

NORTH JE AG.DKK WEST ADG HF.FGG

Break the code and enter this waypoint into your GPS, and goto this spot.

When you get there you should see a rope swing with a tree next to it on the left with some nails in it. The issue of the nails in the tree has been fixed as of Feb 26 2006.

How many nails are there in the tree?

Set up this code breaker

# nails minus 5 = a

# nails minus 4 = b

# nails minus 2 = c

# nails minus 8 = d

# nails minus 1 = e
