2003 Maryland Summer Geocaching Picnic Presented By The MGS

Make plans now to attend the Maryland Geocaching Society's  2003 summer picnic and barbeque in Maryland's own Patapsco Valley State Park. We have reserved a beautiful riverside picnic shelter complete with electricity, horseshoes, badminton, volleyball, plenty of open space for Frisbee or catch, and numerous hiking/mountain biking trails nearby for your caching enjoyment. Patapsco Valley State Park offers some of the most enjoyable and challenging geocaching experiences in the state.

This event is FREE and open to anyone with an interest in Geocaching. New to the game? Just getting started? Come on out and join the fun!

So Far Plans include:

  • A pot-luck picnic/barbecue,
  • New and Exciting Caches Placed In The Park For The Event
  • Geocaching Games, Raffles & Door Prizes

A few details:

  • Because the shelter is reserved for one day only there will be NO raindate... rain or shine, the show must go on!
  • Pets are NOT permitted in the picnic areas of the park... sorry.
  • Alcohol is permitted but only within the area of the picnic shelter.
  • There is a $2.00 per person park entrance fee. (excluding children in car seats.)
  • Restroom facilities are nearby.
