Pioneer Cemetery

St. Stephen's Anglican Church

St. Stephen's Cemetery is located on Langstaff Road, just east of Keele Street on the south side. The cache is located in the cemetery. There is plenty of parking. The cemetery is very quiet and seldom visited.

Easy stroll in an early cemetery. See the names of those that settled the surrounding area - White, Keffer and others. See how some lived into their 80's while others saw only a few months of life. Did they send son's to the War of 1812? Did they march with Mackenzie King during the Rebellion of 1837? What did they think about Confederation in 1867? And later of the skirmish in South Africa with the Boers?

There is parking along Langstaff and a nice gate. Spend some time.
