emmett: Sorry, there is no way to reset this. Today's visit confirmed the cache "host" cannot be utilized any longer and there is nothing else quite like it. I'd say the prior DNF should be changed to a note, since you cannot find what is not there.

The Insidious series has been created to provide a variety of tough tests, especially suited for those who prefer more of a challenge. For those not inclined to tackle this series at maximum difficulty, an alternate, easier means of conquering the Insidious collection is available by acquiring the "hidden secrets" available at Insidous VI. About this hunt:

Insidious: awaiting a chance to entrap; treacherous.

Red herring: a diversion intended to distract attention from the real issue.

This particular insidious offering is a drive-by, but if the hide lives up to its name, you might consider driving into the drink when you’re done. If it ends up being not so tough, you should at least be amused when you’re done.

Also, if you have some extra time to enjoy another activity, it might be nice to bring along a boat or skates (in the winter).

The cache is on the small side and includes a log and a couple of writing instruments. As a frame of reference for others to compare and enjoy, I have included a spot for you to write down the actual amount of time it took you to find the cache. I did not include anything to trade, but there is a little room for a few small items.

Important: This cache has required frequent maintenance, primarily because it has not been replaced properly by previous finders. As a result, many visitors have found it to be not so insidious. This is a unique cache that will remain so only with the full cooperation of each visitor. Please exercise caution before removing the cache from its spot and also when opening it. Make sure you note exactly how it was placed, then remove it with care and replace it with care in the precise manner it was hidden.
