The Tattoine Incident: 7- OMG! WMD?! Traditional Cache

WE WERE WARNED...

OMG indeed–it gets worse!  Those of you familiar with the activities of the Dark Side, which have spread nationwide since 'The Tattoine Incident' in 1953, will already have great cause for concern. However, the results of my latest research as presented here will truly alarm you and those of a nervous disposition should go no further...

I have recently come across a declassified planning application dating from 1957 in the dark recesses of a local library. This shows a ‘fast track’ application for a very large dish shaped object measuring 250 feet in diameter in Siddington near Chelford.  On further examination the application was made in person by a representative of The Dark Side and was approved the very same day which I fear proves evidence of collusion by the UK authorities.

The application was filed under the auspices of ‘PROJECT JODREL’ and although it says the object serves an ‘unspecified purpose’, I now believe it refers to the construction of a ‘Jedi Object for Destruction and Random ELimination’. Having visited the location in question, there is indeed a large device fitting that description which is visible from the cache site.  Its true purpose is still unknown but I suspect it is used for guarding the approach to the Wormhole at Chelford and anything or anyone approaching too closely is likely to meet a very unpleasant demise.

The cache is hidden in a quiet lane from where you can see the object over the brow of a small hill to the north. Walk further down the lane to the bridge for a better look but please take EXTREME care when near the cache, especially if the object is pointing in your direction, as I wouldn’t want anything nasty to happen to YOU.

The main cache is 'The Tattoine Incident: 1'. This will take you on a 2 hour journey around the original landing site and describes the incident that occurred in Tatton Park in February 1953. A recent example of the activities of The Dark Side is visible at a related drive-by cache nearby called   'The Tattoine Incident: 2- Further Evidence' (now archived) where you once were able to inspect at first hand the first Earthly application of The Device.  If you still aren't convinced that there are things going on that we should be seriously bothered about, then visit   'The Tattoine Incident: 3- & What's Going On Here?!'.  Here you will see evidence of a large Earth monitoring system and an abundance of mutant creatures. 'The Tattoine Incident: 4- Wormhole' and 'The Tattoine Incident: 5- Wormhole Approach Beacon' will help explain why this part of the country is of such importance to The Dark Side.  I have adopted a cache at 'The Tattoine Incident: 6- The Bongs' where there appears to be a Dark Side training facility and finally there is a large object which will cause you extreme alarm clearly visible at 'The Tattoine Incident: 7- OMG! WMD?!'.

To complete your research there is 'The Tattoine Incident: 1- Wherigo'. This is an interactive geocache which has been developed using the Wherigo system. The tour will take you around the original 3 stage multi-cache and provides you with additional information about Tatton Park and The Incident. It culminates with an additional bonus cache which is logable.
